How much do Vault fees cost?

Card storage in the Vault is free of charge. When retrieving cards from the Vault, there will be a retrieval fee of 110 yen or 2.20% of the acquisition price (including tax), whichever is greater. There will be no retrieval fee when listing cards from the Vault to an Auction.
Please note:
(1) Retrieval of cards acquired through Wabbit will be free of charge. This excludes cards obtained through campaigns or other promotions.
(2) When cards are retrieved without listing them for auction, a retrieval fee will be applied. The acquisition price used to calculate the retrieval fee will be the declared value under the Vault service.
(3) A card that is returned to the Vault after an unsuccessful auction will not be subject any retrieval fees.

What are Retrieval Fees?

A retrieval fee pertains to the cost associated with withdrawing cards that have been deposited in the Vault.
This fee, which amounts to either 110 yen or 2.2% of the acquisition amount, applies exclusively when cards are withdrawn from the Vault without ever being listed for sale.

The acquisition amount is determined by either the ‘self-declared amount entered when shipping to Wabbit’ or the ‘winning bid amount in the Auction.’
Please be aware that if the self-declared amount significantly differs from the prevailing market price, there is a possibility of adjusting the acquisition amount without prior notice.

I’m concerned that if the buyer is responsible for paying the fees, it might result in additional costs for me.

When entering a bid, the Buyer’s Premium will be displayed, and you can decide whether or not to submit a bid after reviewing the final bid amount inclusive of all fees. When submitting a bid, please be sure to include the Buyer’s Premium.

When and who is responsible for paying fees?

Listing items and presenting cards incur no initial charges. Transaction fees are only applicable upon the successful completion of a Trade between the parties involved, with a transaction fee of $5% per LOT (including taxes).

Can I choose the delivery method?

The shipping method will be based on the total insurance amount. We use Yu-Pack for shipments with a total insurance amount of up to 500,000 yen. We use regular registered mail for shipments with a total insurance amount exceeding 500,000 yen. If you change the insurance amount after selecting “Shipping,” the shipping method will be automatically adjusted. Please keep in mind that the compensation amount will be determined by the insurance amount you enter, so please confirm the information you provide.

I’d like to keep the shipping cost as low as possible.

For cost-effective shipping options, we recommend the following:

  • Opt for our Vault Service to completely eliminate shipping costs.
  • Schedule a prior appointment to pick up your cards from our Nihonbashi headquarters.
  • Consolidate shipments with our Vault Service until you have accumulated enough cards. Please keep in mind that our Vault Service is completely free for cards purchased through Wabbit.

Nihombashi Headquarters: 2 Chome-1-3 Nihonbashi, Chuo City, Tokyo 103-0027

I want to minimize the packaging fee when shipping.

The packaging fee for shipping is a flat rate per shipment.
This packaging fee is applied to each individual shipment, so you can save money by arranging multiple items for shipment or shipping after collecting items from multiple auctions.
